Penny a day
I think this blog has a great idea! My husband and I save up our pennies all year and then cash them in at Christmas time and then send the money to local charities that are featured in our newspapers giving guide. Consider doing something manageable for you. Our favorite part of Christmas is deciding where we are going to send our penny money for the year. Never understimate the power of what you can do in the world.

Books are celebrated here! The power of words makes me happy and I want everyone to know which books I am reading and be able to discuss them with me. I am also way open to suggestions on what books we should read next. I won't pin myself down to a certain type of books that we will read, since I read pretty much everything. I love history, whoremance, political science, biographical and fiction and non-fiction books so there is definitely going to be variety.
